Oral Hearing for the Dublin Waste to Energy Project
Day 7: Tuesday 15th May
The oral hearing for the proposed Dublin Waste to Energy Project recommenced today at 11:00am in The Anna Livia suite of The Gresham Hotel, O’Connell Street, Dublin 1.
The Inspector began by explaining that he intends to proceed with the cross examination of the witnesses who spoke on behalf of Dublin City Council. The morning session saw cross examination of Mr. Con Coll’s evidence on Community Gain; Mr. Colm Traynor’s evidence on Emergency Planning; and Mr. Wayne Bedford’s evidence on Archaeology and Cultural Heritage.
The afternoon session continued with cross examination of Ms. Jennifer Harmon’s evidence on Noise and Vibration; Ms. Ria Lyden’s evidence on Construction and Decommissioning, as well as Cumulative Impacts & Interactions; Mr. Jan Fritzdal’s evidence on Architectural Design; and Mr. Thomas Burns’ evidence on Landscape and Visual Impact.
The oral hearing continues tomorrow at 10:00am.
