Oral Hearing for the Dublin Waste to Energy Project

Day 13 - Thursday 24th May

The oral hearing began this morning with further submissions from Mr. Gavin Lawlor on behalf of the Dublin Port Company. Mr. Lawlor’s evidence relating to the CPO and development planning was subsequently cross examined by Dublin City Council. This was followed by cross examination of some of the remaining Dublin City Council witnesses. Dr. Brian Madden’s evidence on Terrestrial Ecology was cross examined first followed by the cross examination of Ms. Eleanor Mayes’ evidence on Conservation Designations in Dublin Bay and Wintering Waterfowl. Finally, Mr. John Brophy was cross examined on Estuarine and Marine Ecology.
